ExactSize is a free video and GIF compression tool that runs entirely in the user's browser. Continuous availability and identical results across all devices aren't guaranteed, since performance depends on each user's hardware and browser.

Intellectual property of the compression engine

The compression engine used is FFmpeg, distributed under GPL-2.0/LGPL licenses, compiled to WebAssembly. More information and source code at ffmpeg.org.

Responsibility for files

The user is solely responsible for the content of the files they process with this tool. ExactSize does not access, review, or store those files.
